I'm totally blank at the moment. I woke up this morning, did my roots since red ends with a smattering of brown and a LOT of gray does not look nice and then intended to do a blog post. I really wanted to come up with something good but it's just not there today and I doubt it will be tomorrow either. So, I'll just use this as an opportunity to remind you about the EJDSS Team giveaway here. It ends on Wednesday so you still have some time to get an entry in. The prize is a gorgeous Peyote Stitch bracelet.
Speaking of giveaways (ok so I was the only one speaking about them) there are two others I'd like to tell you about which are really cool too. Carol over at Sand Fibers is having a giveaway for one of her beautiful bead woven cuffs. If you have never seen Carol's work then you have to stop by her blog if only to gaze at this woman's amazing talent! I have been a fan of hers for a long time. Here is the link to her giveaway.
This next one is from Deborah over at Sweetwater Designs who I included in this Favorites For Friday post. She is giving away one of her beautiful lamp worked beads! How cool is that? Check out the post here and get your entry in.
So, in the end I did actually have something.....just not what I wanted to say really. At least now that should keep you busy for a bit.
Sure sounds like something to me! I'll check out the giveaways! I'd also like to see your hair - the color sounds intriguing!
ReplyDeletethanks for the links to the giveaways. i always love checking them out. have a great day!
ReplyDeleteFor not having anything to write about, you did a good job!! Love hearing about contests!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks,
And An award is waiting for you over at Candles, Crafts and Whatnot. Congrats!
:) Kat
What do you mean nothing? You gave us a very special map (and clues) for a treasure hunt!! What fun!
ReplyDeleteSharla....Do you mean with or without the roots??? lmao. Actually I have a (bad) photo the husband took when we went to the ballgame last month. I'll fix it up and post it when I get a minute.
ReplyDeleteHave fun entering the giveaways and good luck!
Giveaways are always good! Hope your hair looks good now :)
ReplyDeleteWell, you pulled that one out! :) I hate those days when the creative cupboard is bare. Thank goodness for Hobbes!
ReplyDeleteMy cupboard is bare tonight and I really need help too. I doubt if I will be able to pull a post as good as you did from nothing!!:-)
ReplyDeleteFrom nothing, you gave us a full and luscious meal!
ReplyDeleteTotally understand the roots problem! I had almost decided to stop coloring my hair, but hubby doesn't think gray is a nice color. Hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteOh Audrey, don't you just love men! They say it how they see it. Mine is the same. If even a little gray is showing he says "Um don't you think you need to do your roots?"....hahaha
ReplyDeleteI totally know about blog-blank, it's the main reason why I don't update my blog more than once a month....cool giveaways though! I've done the hair color thing a couple times, last time I went to the hairdresser to do it--I tried one of those home kits before and it came out awful. I would totally love to go blonde (was blonde as a kid, now sort of mousy brown), but when I asked at the hair place the girl said she didn't think it would work (I don't remember why, something about how dark my hair was I think). I ended up going a couple shades lighter than my natural color. I think maybe I'll try highlights next, my daughter had those done a while back and it came out really nice.
ReplyDeleteI covered up my gray just before i went on holiday, but it seems to be washing out :)
ReplyDeleteI have got to check out Deborah's giveaway, I love her beads!
