Let's Play Ball!

I mentioned about a week and half ago that we were taking a quick road trip up to San Francisco to go to a ballgame. I finally managed to get the photos up on my computer yesterday. The first photo is the view from the hotel parking lot. July in San Francisco, cloudy and cold! We were dressed for Las Vegas weather so I had to put my jacket on over my tank top and shorts...interesting combination. Since we have a car we tend to stay near the airport since the accommodation is much cheaper than staying right in the City.

Next photo is the view from out seats of the scoreboard. It was between innings so they were showing some guys who had the good fortune to get to sit in the recliners over in right field. So I don't know who the heck they are, they just happened to be in my shot. Shame it was such a cloudy day because on a clear day you can see across to Oakland on the other side of the water.

This third photo is looking over to the bleachers. I think I mentioned that it was going to be Dog Day at the park and this is where all the dogs were. You can't see them in the photo but with the blind eye you could see tails wagging everywhere. We had our binoculars with us too so I spent half the time looking across at the dogs. Not even paying much attention to the game....lol. Again, shame about the clouds since this would have been a great shot on a clear day. Maybe next time it won't be as cloudy.

This shot is a bit fuzzy but you can see this dog has his Giant's bandana on. Gotta support the team! All in all it was a good day. The Giants won and it was nice to get out of the heat of Las Vegas.

  2. I would have been looking at the dogs too! It's not easy being in San Francisco on a sunny day but your photos are still wonderful!

  3. It's usually overcast and cold in San Francisco. Hope you had fun nevertheless. I wonder how many dogs were paying attention to the game too. I think they were just waiting for the hot dog. :)
