Favorites For Friday

Ahhh not long to go before it will be Christmas day. Sorry, not meaning to get you into a panic about it but it is true. One thing about Christmas time that I love are candy canes, don't know what it is about them but I can't get enough. I love the colors and the flavor! That is why this weeks favorites are all candy cane inspired from Etsy.

Favorites For Friday

It's that time of year, when the leaves start to fall from the trees. If I had a bucket list (which I don't) then one of the top things on it to do would be to visit the New England area during the time when the leaves change. All the beautiful colors! On that note, that is the theme for this week....leaves.

Set of Pistachio Autumn Leaves - Earthenwood

Branch of Leaves Bracelet - Fourviere Hill Jewelry

Messenger Bag - Sinem Inugur

Glowing Leaves 5x7 Fine Art Photograph - Joy Tanner Photography

Autumn Soap Leaves - Enchanting Soap Favors

I hope you enjoy these, even if you happen to be in the Southern Hemisphere where it is almost the start of Spring.

Favorites For Friday

I had intended to do this post last week but got side-tracked, as I do. So this week's favorites are actually last weeks favorites though they are always favorites....make sense? All of this weeks faves come from a few of my favorite Entrecard blogs. Blogs that I stop by regularly to see what is new and exciting. Obviously these are just a small handful but here they are. Clicking on the photo takes you their listing but I've also added links to their shop (top link) and blog (bottom one).

Pamper Me Please!!

I bet you think this is me pleading for a spa treatment including massage after the week I've had. Well, yes that would be nice but that isn't what this post is about. Actually, with all that has been happening this post was put to the back burner so to speak for a week or so. About a month ago I was fortunate enough to win some soap(pictured above) from Melissa over on her Pamper Me Please blog which you should check out here. This soap is a Cold Process Lavender Soap and I have to be honest I don't really know what that means but this soap is divine! I finally was able to use it (and no that doesn't mean I haven't bathed) yesterday and today. The smell is wonderful although isn't lavender meant to be relaxing? Maybe that was why I almost fell asleep shaving my legs. Oh and that is another thing, I've used other handmade soaps before but one thing I did notice with this one is when I shaved there wasn't much discomfort. Here is what I mean, I live in Vegas, I sit by the pool so obviously the bikini area needs to be seen to. Normally, no matter what type of soap or razors I've used, I always seem to get irritated in that area. With this soap there was absolutely no irritation at all and I think I actually got an even closer shave under my arms too. Sorry if that is too much information but at least I haven't posted pics!

Melissa has a shop over on Etsy, so make sure you check it out here. She has a lovely collection of soaps, bath bombs and crocheted items. I have my eye on the Rainbow Kitchen Scrubber, very clever idea. I know I'll be back for more and thanks again Melissa.
